JRC Craft Studio

JRC Products Ltd was born during the pandemic of 2020. However, the story behind it’s founder, Jaqueline, spans many years before that. Jaqueline started “arting and crafting” from a very young age, but it wasn’t until the 80’s that Jax (as she is better known to her friends and family), passion was embedded into every facet of her life. This included the art of sewing, and with a machine gifted to her by her mother, no-one has held her back since. (Ps. She still uses that same old sewing machine in her everyday crafting today!) With a very avid curiosity for all things crafty and handmade, Jax soon moved on to her next favourite of all crafts, ceramics. Her passion for ceramics grew to a point where she had set-up a small factory from where she designed, poured and fired her ceramic goods. Hand painting them or glazing them as per customer’s requests. Coupled with her degree in Education, Jax taught crafting, by now adding, woodwork, decoupage, resin, mixed media, mosaics, pewter art and beading to her many talents. Jax loves to use different unexpected textures, colours and finishes in her products. She thrives on the unexpected and quirky but also on perfect finishes to anything that she creates. Moving from RSA to the UK in 2018 meant that Jax put her crafting passion on hold whilst she settled in a new country and tried to find her feet. But, her itch didn’t subside and less than 2 years later, JRC Products Ltd was birthed. Going back to her humble beginnings, Jax, JRC Products, have started a range of finished products, which include, a little bit of sewing, a little bit of painting, a little bit of wood, wire, wool, and, and, and… And how happy the soul is again! I do custom orders and love to interact with my customers to understand their needs and make them part of the whole design process. The baby room decor is a sure example of this interactive process.
